The Paper Day Series
BIO
Award winning writer, B. J. O’Malley, author of The Paper Day Series and soon to be released series, The Sagas of Snaky Marco, retired from the newspaper publishing industry in 2018 and now lives in North Georgia near family. Soon after retirement, she says, it was evident that taking the girl out of publishing does not take the love of stories out of the girl, so writing and illustrating her own children’s books have become passionate endeavors from which she plans never to retire.

we think b.j. omalley is snaky marco’s grandma disguised as a writer but we haven’t been able to prove it yet.
Hello everyone. This is B.J. and as to the speculation on my true identity, you’ll get no confession from me. Grandma Marco is much too adventurous, after all. You are more likely to find me in my chair (the one that stays put), listening to a YouTube playlist and drawing portraits of Snaky’s friends.
Grandma Marco, does occasionally call me on the phone and recount her last adventure (in great detail, of course) and that, I do admit, is how most of the stories get started. So, hold on tight to the arms of your chair and let the Sagas begin!
